Class 4

smileySummer Termsmiley

Welcome back! Wow! We are back and what a start to our term we have had. We have performed on stage at De Montford Hall, had a day out at the Belvoir Castle Country and Cricket day and won some trophies and medals at sporting events! We truly are GREAT!

This term we will meddle with monsters, myths and magic! Our focus in history is still the Vikings and so we will continue use How to Train your Dragon as a stimulus for some great English work. Beowulf will provide us with monsters and magic as we will be writing our own version! Take a look at our topic web below for details about what we will be learning this term!

PE will continue to have an outdoor feel as we will be doing tennis or athletics (Tuesday afternoon) and cricket or rounders (Friday afternoon). Trainers are definitely needed as plimsolls just wont make the grade for feet for these activities.

Homework and spellings are different this term so please check out the homework web for more details but essentially, I will give the homework to the children each week as and when. I have asked them to really focus on reading regularly to ensure they meet their reading targets and to

If you feel you have any spare time or experience or expertise in anything we are learning this term please do not hesitate to come in to share it with us. Any help is always gratefully received!

Finally, thank you for all your support with any home learning tasks and any last minute requests and for the carriage of the instruments to and from school. I really appreciate it.

Kind regards,

Mrs Lander
